Frequently asked questions
- How do I write the page range?
- Use a hyphen for a run of pages and commas to separate segments. "1-3,5" gives you pages 1, 2, 3, and 5. "2-4,7-9" gives you pages 2 through 4 and 7 through 9. Pages come out in document order.
- Is the text still selectable in the split file?
- Yes. The pages you pick are copied into the new document as-is rather than re-rendered, so text, fonts, images, and quality are all preserved exactly.
- Do my files get uploaded?
- No. Splitting runs entirely in your browser and the PDF never leaves your device.
- Are there usage or file-size limits?
- Runs are unlimited and each file can be up to 50 MB.
